Parent Volunteers neededDecember 23, 2015
We are getting ready for two very fun trips and we need your help! Our confirmation class is preparing for their retreat and our high school students are getting ready to head out to North Carolina to go skiing. There are several ways for parents to help out for these trips.
1. Shopping! Both trips need supplies and food. If you have some time next week (and a Costco card!) we would love for you to help us out with the shopping. (We will even provide the credit card!)
2. Check-in. We can always use help getting students checked in for their trips. Check-in for the ski trip will be at 9 am on January 2. Check-in for the confirmation retreat will also be on January 2 and it will begin at noon. Each "shift" should take about an hour total.
3. Send food! We are taking all of our own meals for the ski trip. If you would like to bake cookies or send a frozen breakfast casserole, that would make our shopping list a little bit shorter!
4. Pray! Pray for our leaders and our students to experience Jesus in a whole new way, to have a super fun time, and to continue to grow meaningful relationships with one another as they build a faith community.
What a great time we are going to have! If you are available and willing to do any of these items listed above, please contact me (firstname.lastname@example.org or 770.649.4519).
We are excited about both of these trips and we can't wait to share with you all the fun that we have. You can check this blog during the event for updates on the trip.
Thanks for all you do!
