ryeX RAPIDS Day 4 (Sunday)

June 06, 2017

Our last day started with some packing/cleaning and breakfast where prayers included friendships remaining after camp and hopes the vans wouldn't start so we could stay longer. Thankfully the vans did start and my heart is filled with joy with the meaning behind those prayers. We all loved camp, grew throughout the weekend and were all sad to leave.

Sunday worship time was beautiful and Jeff lead us through one more session that tied a big bow on the whole weekend and allowed for application in our students' lives. "What do you want your story to be?" We ended our last session with communion and prayers that were all so moving. God is GREAT!

The van rides home were also a blast! Everyone was singing, laughing and exchanging numbers. The students bonded, cared for one another, conquered fears, and learned so much about God's influence on our story. RyeX RAPIDS has been one for the books and definitely the first of many!
