May MOE: Take a Hike with Ranger Bill

This May MOE is for current 5th - 7th Graders. Take a hike through the beautiful Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area (CRNRA) with Bill Cox, Superintendent of the CRNRA, a unit of the National Park Service. This is a fun time for students to hike, hang out together and experience God's creation.

Date: Friday, May 11

Time: 6-8 p.m.

Eat a hearty snack before being dropped off. We'll hike first, then enjoy some food together. Wear closed-toe shoes for hiking. Bring a water bottle and a notebook/pen to reflect on this amazing world God has given us.

Cost: $5

Adult Chaperones are needed!

Location: Drop off and pick up at CRNRA, 8800 Roberts Dr., Sandy Springs, GA 30350. Drop off at the Hewlett Lodge Visitor Center located in the Island Ford unit in Sandy Springs. To find the Island Ford Visitor Center use the physical address: 8800 Roberts Dr., Sandy Springs 30350. Once you arrive there, turn onto Island Ford Parkway at the large Island Ford entrance sign. Follow the signs to the park headquarters where the visitor center is located.
